M.S. Malik
Dehradun: Hari Ram Kohli Memorial Hospital, which has been providing healthcare services in Dehradun for the past 36 years, has achieved another significant milestone by being empanelled under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). Eligible CGHS beneficiaries can now avail themselves of cashless treatment at the hospital in accordance with the scheme’s guidelines.
To further enhance patient convenience, the hospital has also launched an online OPD appointment service. Patients can now book appointments from the comfort of their homes through the hospital’s website. Those who book online will receive priority registration at the reception, quicker access to consultation, and seamless services at no additional cost. Walk-in patients will continue to be welcome.
Advanced Technology and Expert Medical Care
Hospital Director Dr. Tushar Kohli said the institution was established with the vision of providing quality, ethical, and modern healthcare. Over the past three decades, the hospital has successfully treated thousands of patients and earned their trust through dedicated, patient-centric care. Equipped with advanced medical technology and supported by experienced specialists, the hospital has established itself as one of Uttarakhand’s leading private healthcare institutions.
State-of-the-Art Orthopaedic and Trauma Care
The hospital offers advanced orthopaedic procedures, including knee, hip, and reverse shoulder replacement surgeries, arthroscopy, ACL and PCL ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and advanced surgeries for the shoulder, ankle, and elbow. It also performs endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgeries using UBE (Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy) and TFE (Transforaminal Endoscopic) techniques, enabling smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery.
24×7 Trauma Care and Cashless Healthcare
The hospital provides round-the-clock trauma and emergency care, along with obstetrics and gynaecology, dental care, and advanced pathology and laboratory services under one roof. It is empanelled with CGHS, ECHS, and several leading health insurance companies and Third Party Administrators (TPAs), enabling eligible patients to avail themselves of cashless treatment.
Dr. Tushar Kohli said the hospital’s mission goes beyond providing medical treatment. It aims to earn patients’ trust by delivering safe, transparent, and reliable healthcare services. He expressed confidence that the CGHS empanelment would make the hospital’s specialised medical services more easily accessible to Central Government employees, pensioners, and their dependants.
